Welcome to the summer edition of Inside the Riverina magazine, proudly brought to you by Riverina Fresh.

You may already know about the Riverina as the ‘food bowl of Australia’. Which is true – the region’s diverse range and large scale of produce grown, crafted and packaged for export is what makes this region unique.

The Riverina’s temperate climate is ideally suited to the region’s 20 dairy farming businesses whose cows produce the region’s nationally recognised award-winning milk, hailed by baristas across Australia for its rich, ‘silky’ qualities.

While you’re travelling amongst our rural setting, you’ll discover that our local restaurateurs, chefs, café owners, brewers, wine makers, marketeers and growers have been steadily “raising the bar” on the food, wine and agritourism experience on offer to locals and visitors alike.

What’s more, you can experience the ‘paddock to plate’ concept all in one place. And, of course, much of what you’ll see, taste and smell is made with the Riverina’s gorgeous fresh produce.
