Kimo Estate, near Gundagai
Kimo Estate is a unique wedding ceremony, reception venue, and luxury accommodation property. Located just outside Gundagai NSW, the 7,000-acre sheep and cattle farm is steeped in farming history, dating back to 1832. Purchased in the 1970’s by the Ferguson family, when son David, a wedding photographer, and wife Emelia settled on the property several decades later, they transformed the grounds into an elegant canvas for couples to create their memorable day.
Guests sip champagne amongst the seven acres of immaculate homestead gardens and dance the night away in the 110-year-old ‘Grain Shed’, complete with cathedral ceilings and stunning views. Kimo’s experienced team are on hand to help plan every element of the day, with Emelia offering a personal approach and meticulous attention to detail.
A range of premier, stylishly appointed accommodation is available for weddings, overnight stays or those looking for the perfect weekend away. Renovated self-contained shearers quarters, country cottages and newly completed eco huts allow you to unplug, recharge and relax. The eco-huts are the pinnacle of luxury, set high on the hills of Kimo Estate, overlooking the majestic Murrumbidgee River in private seclusion.
