Food I Am, Wagga Wagga
From the beaches of Thailand to the bistros of Paris, Food I Am cooking classes bring a world of food to the Riverina.
The current DIY gourmet cooking revolution is inspiring hordes of wannabe cooks back into the kitchen. Food I Am is the catalyst for promoting gourmet food and cooking to the Riverina community. Through a series of professional cooking classes, Food I Am showcases the Riverina’s best chefs, boutique producers, artisans and farmers all dedicated to organic, sustainable, free-range farming.
Founder Tania Sibrey is a passionate local who has established Food I Am as a well recognised brand across the region and beyond. Tania brings together a diverse calendar of events with incredible regional and internationally-acclaimed chefs, who are not-only experts in cooking, but really know how to teach all levels.
Located on an all-encompassing rural destination site on the outskirts of Wagga Wagga and boasting a spectacular vista, a visit to the school is a treat on its own. Here you can join in on a Masterclass and hone your skills, or simply spectate as the professionals whip up a feast for your enjoyment. With a focus on organic and sustainable cooking, the classes offered range from pasta making to macaron Masterclasses and everything in between.
Food I Am offers more than just cooking classes though, with Tania currently organising a gastronomic trek through Northern Italy in 2015. Details regarding the trek, along with class schedules, are available via the Food I Am website.
