Trading every Thursday from 3-7pm during daylight savings time (or until everything sells out!), Eat Local Thursday is the brainchild of local, trained naturopath, Pennie Scott.
The Eat Local Thursday movement was inspired by wanting to give local growers a fair go through self-sufficiency.
As a passionate supporter of Riverina farming, Pennie identified a need in the community to build a stronger connection between Riverina locals and locally grown produce.
Eat Local Thursday market stalls include succulent lamb from Ellamatta Lamb, treats from Junee Licorice Factory and delicious fresh juices made onsite by local Temora business, The Apple Shed.
