Central Hotel Ungarie
Pubs are an integral part of any rural community, and the Central Hotel Ungarie is just that, offering simple, affordable pleasures for locals and visitors. Whether you’re in for a quiet mid-week catch-up or weekend night out, the Central serves up a great feed with a line-up of weekly events, meat raffles and live entertainment
The town of Ungarie is a small friendly rural town with the Humbug Creek running through it, which provides a luscious surrounding when full. The Central Hotel is the hub in a town that supports a large farming community and where locals head for a cold beer and comfort food. Owners Ben and Rachael perpetuate this by serving hearty Australian pub fare alongside their popular traditional pizzas. The community gathers at the Central for charity and karaoke nights, racing picnics and dart tournaments, games on the big screen and of course the mandatory happy hour.
Ben and Rachael cater for all types of functions and events including birthdays, anniversaries and engagement parties. The Central Hotel Ungarie have also recently become the local newsagent so you can grab a coffee or cool drink with your paper.
