Avondale Station, Coolamon

All aboard for a unique farm stay experience at Avondale Station, near the vibrant rural town of Coolamon.

These three beautifully restored carriages are enjoyed by interstate and international visitors alike, who ponder how such a novel idea came to pass. Find out the truth over a glass of wine and local cheese with hosts Jan and Colin Lucas while enjoying stunning sunsets and open skies.

Jan and Colin provide a continental breakfast each morning to enjoy at your leisure in the nearby “Station”, formally a barn built in the 1930s. You’ll need two nights to fully appreciate the beauty of this hidden treasure.

Jan and Colin will gladly take you on a guided tour of their property to see their sheep, cattle and forestry enterprises, grounded in the philosophy of using environmentally friendly, sustainable, biological methods of farming.

So, if you’re looking for a quirky venue for a family reunion or getaway with friends, this is your ticket!
