Welcome to the winter edition of the Insider’s Guide Magazine, proudly brought to you by the Riverina Wine Grapes Marketing Board.

Today, the Riverina is the biggest producer of wine in New South Wales, with one in every four glasses of Australian wine made right here in the Riverina.

Wine Cellar doors are located right throughout the region including in Gundagai, Wagga Wagga Shire, Leeton, and of course, Griffith.

Griffith alone boasts over ten wineries open to the public for cellar door tastings and sales. A large proportion of its vineyards planted to premium grape varieties. Main varieties include Semillion, Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Traminer.

The Riverina offers a unique mix of cultures from all around the world and is renowned for its quality restaurants and European style cafes all serving divine gourmet cuisine complimented by our local fine wines.
